Yesterday was an extraordinary day or better said evening. First I had a good day at work, then came home to grap my sport bags and picked up Koichi San at East Croydon Station and drove up to the dojo.
There we had a wonderful evening with gradings and japanese calligraphy lessons. After that we all said goodbye to Koichi who goes back to Japan. Sniff 😦
Everyone got presents: wonderful artwork from Koichi and for driving him home afterwards Neil got a DVD and I got one of his calligraphy brushes.
All in all it was a great day with many happy faces and that’s what I love to see: friends with a smile on their faces.
And everyone passed their gradings so a big congratulation to everyone! 🙂
And also a big thanks to my best friend who brought me that magic chinese medicine that nearly cured the pain in my knee.
Anyway, Neil has now some brilliant ideas how he could help to bring him back to the UK by selling his artwork here from the UK. How cool is that?
Let’s hope that we’ll soon get this talented calligraphy and friend back into this country!
And that’s it for tonight. A big hug to all of you out there.
